Shopping for clothes might be a new experience for you. When were you last in a young person’s clothing store? Maybe this message isn’t for you, maybe your ex takes care of the clothing. Great, end of message, but what if your children turn up in inappropriate clothing each visit? What if your children don’t have spare clothing or enough clothing? Would your children tell you if they needed extra clothes? Do you keep a wardrobe full of clothing in your home (kids grow quickly) or just hope appropriate clothes arrive in the stay over bag each week. Your children might like the idea of having pyjamas and spare clothing at dad’s house.

If you decide to buy new clothing, how will you go about it? Are you a shop on-line and hope it fits kind of shopper? Do you pop into your nearest large supermarket and make a beeline for the clothing section. Would your child demand only certain branded goods?

If you feel nervous or worried with this new task, maybe you have a friend or family member who can help. Shopping with your child can be fun. You can set a budget and make an outing with your child.
